Standing in Northern Manhattan's Ft. Tryon Park, Monument is a wooden silhouette of a grand, equestrian memorial statue. The artist recasts this classic image of the hero into an examination of what has been left out or forgotten in our histories, forcibly reinterpreting the idea of the vanquisher.

Monument was chosen as one of 40 projects in Art in the Parks: Celebrating 40 Years, commemorating the 40 year history of contemporary art in New York City's public parks.
